Leno Hernandez

Leno Hernández is an up and coming artist who gained popularity on the streaming service Whatnot. Known for dynamic posing, compositions, and versatility, his work lead him to opportunities with Marvel Upperdeck’s “Allegiance: Avengers vs X-Men” and Fleer Ultra’s “Midnight Sons,” and upcoming Fanatics projects “Marvel Comic Book Heroes 1975 Golden Anniversary” “Deadpool Chrome” and “Marvel Cinematic.”

Leno was approached to provide his first cover for Whatnot Publishing (now Massive Publishing) with their release of Wesley Snipes’ “The Exiled.” Followed by contributions to Image Comics’ award winning title “Department of Truth” for issues 25 and 27, as well as the 40th anniversary facsimile release of Transformers #1. His work was featured as an El Paso Comic Con convention exclusive on the facsimile release of the classic G I Joe issue 21 silent issue. Currently, his covers for Boom Comic’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III issue 1 and Image’s Battle Beast issue 5 are set to release late summer 2025.

This year Leno will be joining “The Long Game” screen writer Paco Farías and Baldemar Rodriguez on the independent comic project “Catrina,” as well as launching his first solo series “Mijo.”
